Changing plans, the fair way

Switch whenever you want. The rule is simple: you always get everything you paid for.

Upgrades are instant

Moving up — Pastor to Church, or monthly to annual — takes effect immediately. You pay only the difference for the days left in your current cycle (prorated to the day, shown before you confirm), and the bigger sermon allowance unlocks right away.

Downgrades wait until you’ve used what you paid for

Moving down — Church to Pastor, or annual to monthly — is scheduled for the end of the period you already paid. You keep your current plan, its sermon allowance and its features until that date; nothing is charged when you confirm. Changed your mind? One click on “Cancel downgrade” and everything stays as it was.

Going over your plan never blocks a sermon

If you upload more sermons than your plan includes, they’re processed normally and billed at $4.99 per extra sermon on your next invoice. The usage bar in your dashboard always shows where you stand in the current cycle — and if extras become a habit, upgrading usually costs less.

Cancel anytime

From Settings → Billing, in two clicks. You keep full access until the end of the period you paid for, and your transcripts stay readable forever.

30-day money-back

If SermonKeep isn’t a fit, write us within 30 days of any payment and we’ll refund it. No forms, no hoops.

Payments by Stripe

Cards are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. Every invoice lives in your dashboard, PDF included.

Billing questions, answered

How does the free sermon work?

Every church gets one full sermon on us — transcript, summary, scripture references and content tools — with no card required. It’s a real sermon from your pulpit, not a demo. After that, pick a plan to keep going.

What happens if we go over our monthly sermons?

Nothing stops. Extra sermons beyond your plan are processed normally and billed at $4.99 each on your next invoice. Your dashboard shows the running count for the cycle at all times.

When do upgrades take effect?

Immediately. You’re charged a prorated difference for the days remaining in your current billing cycle — the exact amount is shown before you confirm — and the new plan’s allowance is available right away.

When do downgrades take effect?

At the end of the period you already paid for. If you’re on an annual plan with six months left, you keep the annual plan for those six months. Until the change happens you can cancel it with one click and keep your current plan.

Do unused sermons roll over to the next month?

No. The allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle. If you regularly need more, the Church plan or an annual cycle is usually the better deal.

How does cancellation work?

Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing — no emails, no phone calls. You keep full access until the end of the period you paid for, and your transcripts and generated content stay readable afterwards. New uploads pause until you resubscribe.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes — a 30-day money-back guarantee. If SermonKeep isn’t a fit, write us within 30 days of a payment and we’ll refund it. No forms, no hoops.

How are payments handled?

All payments run through Stripe, the same processor used by Amazon and Shopify. Your card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store your card number. Every invoice is available in your dashboard, PDF included.

Can we switch between monthly and annual?

Yes. Monthly to annual is an upgrade and applies immediately with prorated credit for what you already paid. Annual to monthly is a downgrade and starts when your current year ends.
